Life
If you give up your life - or any part of it - for the sake of Christ, He always finds ways to give it back to you.

"...I have come that they might have life, and that they have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon, UT

You've probably all seen pictures of Bryce Canyon, so I'll try not to bore you with too many of them...although it's hard not to take too many pictures when you're there.

Perhaps a little less known is Red Canyon in the Dixie National Forest, just outside of Bryce.
We stopped to take a hike up through those red rock hoodoos. Dogs are allowed on the trails in a National Forest, but not at Bryce.
Joselyn on the trail.
We turned around pretty quickly since it was so hot.
Roe and me beside a little hoodoo.
One of 2 tunnels to go under.
And on to Bryce.
This is me at Sunrise Point, Elevation 8015.
Another view
Joselyn on the trail to Inspiration Point.

Do you see the tiny opening in the rock at the upper right side of the picture?
There's a tempting trail down there, but too hot and it would take too long for leaving pets behind.
I'm glad they didn't name this place Ebenezer Canyon.
These recurring sandstone formations are called Grottos.
Ranger Chip showed us the sights at Fairview Point, Elevation 8819.
I spotted this natural bridge down below.
But this larger Natural Bridge has its own viewpoint.
We could see rain on its way at Rainbow Point.
But glad we took the time for this little trail there.
Joselyn started walking funny after I noticed this tree growing out of her head.
The trail...
The Bristlecones
Don't get too close to the edge.
Time to reflect...but not too long; there's a storm coming.
The view...

Whew...made it back just in time.
Goodbye, Southern Utah.
Hello Arizona.
Next up, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
