Roe, Bandit and I left Ocala at 7 a.m.....heading north. Our first stop was at this park in Fanning Springs. The only thing I learned about Fort Fanning was that it was active during the Second Seminole Indian War from 1834-1838.
Both fur kids got out for a short walk along the Suwanee River. (One at a time) The park is much larger than the place we walked....worthy of another stop some day.The fur kids took turns riding shotgun. Bandit took the first turn.
Roe likes this seat.
Are we there yet?
We camped at a Corps of Engineers campground in Alabama. My campground loop is appropriately named Mallard Point. But not exclusively for Mallards.
Bandit was fascinated by all the waterfowl.
Awww
Time to rest
