Life
If you give up your life - or any part of it - for the sake of Christ, He always finds ways to give it back to you.

"...I have come that they might have life, and that they have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

Doing Colorado

Happy 4th of July from Wilkerson Pass, CO. (Only it was the 3rd when we were there)

A view from the visitor center.

Roe reminds you to take time to stop and smell the roses today. Don’t pee on them though.

Along Rte 24.

Hoosier Pass

View from the parking lot

But of course there’s a trail that goes higher for better views.

We walked as far as the first patch of snow to the right.

A place for lovers.

Flowers and snow

I’m sure glad I didn’t try to drive up here....there’s no place to turn around when you find the road blocked by snow.

Roe cooling his feet and getting a drink.

Joselyn thought she wanted to see what’s around the next bend, but changed her mind after slipping in the wet snow.

According to a lady we met, there’s a ghost town at the end of that lake, accessible only with 4-wheel drive.

Somewhere in there was the town of Montgomery.

Tourists and traffic in Breckinridge. 4th of July celebrations.

Sailing regatta on Lake Dillon

Our boondocking spot on Green Mountain Reservoir

Can you see us?

July 4th.....a good day to do laundry. Well, it does say "Holiday"

Rabbit Ears Pass....wonder how they came up with that name?

Time for a little hike on a snowmobile trail.

Roe in his 4th of July outfit.

Don't try to drive through Steamboat Springs at noon on July 4th.

Lunch stop...a cute little city park with carvings throughout...each by a different local artist.

A little history

A little wildlife

Into Wyoming...Joselyn looks at prairie dogs at a rest stop. We changed our route a little and are heading to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone NP.

Fat little prairie dogs....fed too much junk by tourists, I guess.

Camping at Walmart! We are watching a local fireworks from Walmart parking lot.

  1. Now that I think of it, I've never seen a skinny prairie dog. Keep the wonderful narrative and photos coming!
